The National Excellence in Worksite Wellness Award recognizes results-oriented wellness programming.  

Completing and submitting the following application and checklist is the first step in the awards process.  You will be notified via e-mail when your completed checklist is received by the Wellness Council of West Virginia.  A staff member will then contact you to discuss your answers and to forward the full application to your attention.  

The application will serve as a means to document some of the answers given in the checklist.  Additionally, information regarding some of your organization's wellness interventions will be required.  The N.E.W.W. Award will be presented at four levels:  Bronze; Silver; Gold and Platinum.  The different levels will be decided on the number of interventions represented in your final application, your company's rationale for implementing these programs and their results. 

All applications are due by June 15th.  A local review will be completed no later than July 15th and successful applications will be forwarded for review by a national committee.  Winners will be notified of their award status no later than August 31st.  The awards presentation will take place at the WCWV's Annual Governor's Conference on Worksite Wellness.
